Yeah! It is a Sunday! I could finally sleep with some peace for awhile longer as I do not have any activities in the morning. After a satisfied nap, I woke up, and realised that our family were supposed to go to the temple for some prayers for good luck and then to my grandparents house.
Although I find these tiring and meaningless, I just follow my parents obediently wherever they go.
After breakfast, we went to the SAME temple we went EVERY year. It was the same B000rrrinng ritual.. and we have to go through the same old b0000rrrrinnggg rites....with the stinky smell and the deafening noises. I could merely stand it and immediately ran from those "freaky monks who chants non stop" after the whole thing ended. When I asked my mum about the bill, she said it was about $140! OMG...$140 wasted just like that...unbelievable amount of money they earned during the new years...My mum then told me that when she was young, she used to do the similar ritual in her own house. but then, they started doing it themselves. I bet that I would not be like my mum who spends $140 a year on these type of stuff. I would rather save it and spend on items like PSP, Xbox360, Nitendo DS...=P (accumulated)
But that is not the point. The point is, I do not believe that any of these rituals would be able to change my luck/fortune/destiny.....All these are in your hands, and what you do with them, is up to you. Sorry to those who I have offended but, this is my belief. =)
As we were too early to go to my grandma's house, we decided to take a look at the Singapore Flyer as we wanted to see how big and magnificant that giant is. Upon arrival, we went to a guard, and asked him whether the ticketing counter was open. To our surprise, he nodded his head and showed us the way! We had a big shock as the place looked empty and the Flyer did not look like it was moving when we observed it from far. My father immediately bought the tickets for the Flyer as you know how crowded it is going to be when it officialy opens.
I was very excited because my family is one of the first to be able to experience the ride on the world's largest ferry wheel. On the way up, we were treated by friendly workers which kindly showed us the way to the wheel. When we were walking, I could imagine the length of the queue when it is on a normal weekend as the building was built such a way that the building is wide and windy so it could fit the crowd in it.
And...YES!!! My family is finally on the ride with nobody on board at all! My father told my sister and I that the Flyer was reserved this months only for corporate events, each capsule at $8888!!!!! Ahh!! So expensive!! Imagine 30-40 people squeezing into a capusle, and hardly able to breathe. =l Next, I saw the fantasic view of the whole of Singapore and the outskirts of Malaysia and Indonesia. I was take aback by the view as it was simply amazing! ( Srry that no pictures are up, but I will post it asap =I) I could see the integrated resort being currently built, and lots of houses at the other side of the view, looking like small little pebbles on the floor. We took some pictures on the handphone, which looked great. Can't wait to go to the Singapore Flyer again. =)
After a long weekend, the exam is just a week away, with very little revision left to do and more to come.....Off to sleep for school tomorrow!

Hi! I am back again...with lots of things to tell.
It was yet another beautiful Saturday, with the Sun shining brightly up in the sky and...RING. Just a "RING" could disturb my nap. Stupid "RING" also reminded me of Band, and indirectly, my SL. But it also reminded me of some other pleasent stuff, like my friends who are also in band, and the fun times I had. Okay, after getting up and preparing to go for Band Practice, I sighed, thinking about the torture my SL would be giving me during the sectionals.
After arriving late for band practice AGAIN...I mearly escaped the pumping punishment as I ran with all my might, and caught up with the last person falling in at the basketball court. A minute later and the next thing you know would be you on the floor "knocking it down". Aha! As names were being called out for attendance, I noticed some of my friends already getting ready for what was needed to do, and I was secretly laughing, trying not to let the band majors know. We were divided into 2groups, each for each major.
Here comes the funny part, while some of my sec1 juniors were trying to figure out which command was which, they began making all sorts of mistakes. Some of them did crazy actions like putting their hands inside their pockets when they were supposed to " Watch The Front".
Then, as we were marching (Dari-keri Chapa-Jalan in Malay), Shaun ( EX-Band major ) shouted to us to turn ( Keblakan Buseng in Malay) As his voice was too soft to hear at the end of my row and somehow, I managed to hear it, everybody except for the ones behind my back turned. Little did I know that they were still marching foward as I checked my addressing. I laughed along with the ones in front of me, as they hastily ran back to their posistions and continued following the rest of the pack.
After band, I pon-teng (skipped) alumni and went back home because I was having a IPW meeting with my friends and the dateline for part of the project was next thursday. Some of the slacker ones ( like the class CHAIRMAN and his companion) did not turn up because of their usual excuses...Only the loyal and faithful member of the group, Wang Xin, turned up with his friend from Raffles Institution. He was a nice and friendly guy, like any typical RI boy, with a set of notes on his hand reading it wherever he goes.
I think that is all for now, see you tomorrow!

It is Friday! The last schooling day of the week! A feeling that I have every Fridays, throwing my bag at a corner of my room after school and not touching it until it is Monday again...
And I am back in the red and decorative classroom, with some of my classmates doing last-minute work in class~ with me included in the pack ~ I suddenly remembered that I was supposed to do my science worksheet that I have been poundering about it for days because of the difficult questions..After a few minutes of copying from one another, it was time to go outside and listen the crappy old kwok talking about his crappy stories.
Then it was the maths test~something which I wanted to ace in. Ms Latha as her usual sloutching self, was giving funny looks to everyone, especially to me and YaoHui. Obviouslly I was scared, as I knew from her expression that, it was going to be a hard one. And the paper has started! I flipped through the paper, ensuring that it is not as hard as what Ms Latha had described on her face. Ahh!! Although I DID manage to do some of the questions, I came across with a hard and tricky one. Without any clue on how to do it, I started to scibble..scribble...scribble...After realizing that it was useless in all sorts, I already had wasted 5mins out of my precious half an hour!
I had to hurry, with 4questions left, I panicked and started having LOTS of careless mistakes. I could not calculate my sums correctly, and did not notice the units for the answers in the problem sums. I hastily finished all the sums EXCEPT for the tough question. I thought deeply as if I was in a trance, and YES! I thought of the method to solve the question! I quickly scribbled the answer on the piece of paper, with Ms Latha watching me unnoticingly. And....RING!!!!! Time was up, and everyone had a sigh of relief that it was over. As her usual self, Ms Latha 'suan' me by pointing out the mistakes I HAD not noticed. I mean, she could just tell me on the spot right?! ( No la...I was joking about that point)
Soon, I was dreaming throughout the whole day and...poof! I am here, writing my post.
Happy Weekend!

It is Valentimes day!!! Just to let all readers know, I do NOT have a girlfriend..as I am in a BOYS school...
In school, Javier, Shawn Khor and I were called in my Ms Latha for some important matters. One matter that I could not understand was that we needed to shift classes beacause of a boy in Sec 1A who broke his leg accidentally and could not walk. The parent complained to the teacher about this matter and they decided to shift classes with ours as our class was one of the most convienient classes to get to the main enterance of the school. As a result, Ms Latha had informed us to keep the class in a orderly manner to class 1A. Class 1A was like a 'dungeon' as it was very deserted with very little students walking along that class' corridor. Hah! Imagine how we could study inside a dungeon! So dark and creppy...
During recess, it was time to shift! Everyone packed their bags and shift from the 4th floor to the 2nd floor, a tiring thing to do especially is when you carry all your stuff you put your items underneath the table. While walking down the steps, I nearly tripped down and threw my things all over the floor..IT was a MESS I tell u..BIG MESS! I took a nearly 5mins to clear the whole mess up...what a waste of my recess time..
Finally, I reached to my class' new classroom. The first step when I walked inside my classroom, it was OMG!! It was red everywhere, full of CNY decorations with mice each side of the wall...makes the place childish and a little unsuitable for studing. After settling down the students, Javier released them for recess and everyone rushed out of the classroom like a wild pack of monkeys!!
Back at home, my parents bought a valentines day gift for all of us...a heart-shaped chocolate cake! I looked and tasted delicious, irresistable to anyone who tasted it. I wanted a second piece after the first, but sadly, there wasn't any more left! Highly Populated...
Once again, Happy Valentines Day!

Hi! Today, as usual, is a very tiring day for me. I have CCA's going on for me and students who join that particular CCA (BAND) will need to reinforce their self-discipline if not...you will get it from the teacher-in-charge.
So let me start right from the start...
During PE lesson, we were playing advanced handball with groups of 8 in each team. Just as always, students with good atheletic abilties form u together into a group while those who are not so good in sports are in another group. Guess what? The teacher always don't notice that and the better team always wins the game...what a boring thing to do..some people just do not have sportsmanship...
During band, my stupid SL (senior leader) was back again with a crazy attitude...
Firstly, he stripped my shirt off and flung it onto a door where I took a very long time to find
He then splashed his bottle of water onto my shirt, causing me to dry it by taking it off...
After that, he knocked his horn real hard onto the wall, causing some parts of it to be dented..wad a inconsiderate SL.
He also destroys things which are not his, and does not care a little about it.
I do not really like to mention about my SL, such a ************************ feller
Tired, and wanna go and get some rest,
Lionel

Today was an interesting day although having English oral and a history test on the SAME date..I did acceptionally well for my test but not so for my oral although I thought I did quite okay for both. Thanks to my last-minute revision, I managed to do most of the questions on time. Students in the class were complaining about the lack of time given to them during the test, mainly because of the teacher's delay. The teacher should be the one at fault, not the students. We need some justice!
After lunch, we started wondering around the school premises as none of my classmates brough along their basketball. What a boring thing to do...Then, we had an idea, the class basketball gang saw the football gang and decided to play with them soccer..What a surprise! Usually we were kicking highballs and rams whenever a soccerball gets near our basketball court we were playing at but now, everything had changed. All of us were chasing after the ball like mad dogs, pushing against each other and kicking miss shots. But one outstanding player was Javier, one of the basketballers. Not only he did managed to score goals, he also could do stunts most of us suck at. Only if he joined the schools soccer team...Although it was quite a mess having sooooo many people chasing after a SINGLE ball, it satifies us as it brings the class closer to each other and we all get to exercise at the end of the day!
Now....comes the English oral. As per normal, I would just slack around the classroom, trying to catch a nap or to catch up with friends. Some other classmates were trying to memorise some good phrases at the eleventh hour. Too late buddies..your time is up. The teacher came in, bringing more students for the oral exam each time he comes in. I have this strange anxious feeling each time when my turn gets nearer. 33, 34, 35, 36, 37....and finally me, 38. I quietly read the passage given on the piece of paper and slowly turned over to the picture conversation. OMG! What the hell is the picture showing to me?! 2 crazy women dancing with people watch them at the background?! I wanted to break down and cry...what in the *************** were they trying to tell me?!?!?! That I am noob and they are pro? Hais..I have no choice but to infer from the picture and tell them whatever I can say.
Surprisingly, I managed to go through the picture conversation well and alive...and now comes the horror of the entire process...CONVERSATION. To my surprise, the conversation was much easier than expected and that crazy and wacko AngMoh teacher only asked me a few questions like ''go on'' and ''can you elaborate more''. The only thing that scares me is that he shook his head throughout the whole oral exam. It brought a shiver down my spine while waiting for dismissal.
And here am I, just finished my basketball match with my father and writing this new blog post after bathing..Gd luck for everyone's upcomming exams!
Happy CNY

Happy CNY everyone!!..This is my fourth time creating a blog ( after many failed attempts ) and I hope that I would be able to get it through this time. So..let me start on my first post!
So...another day of school on the 5th day of new year..and I received lots of HongPao $ from my relatives! Guess it goes the same for everyone else har..Arrived in school at the usual time...and the usual walking up the dammn hill...What a headache =(
It was nothing much during the ciriculum time as mondays were the slackest day for the entire week and we could relax and do what we wanted to do most of the time. Something special that the school did for us students was that they introduced those painting that are used for indian wedding ceremonies...( I 4got what the name is ) But...I made a mess out of myself and created lots of marks on my hands...What a headache, now I need to live with these prints for at least a week! '.'lll
Stress is getting on top of me again because of the nearing Common Test 1. Some adults just would not understand the PRESSURE it is on us students to score high and not lack behind others as you would know what the consequences are...Even so, parents are doing good for us as the outside world now-of-these-days are getting more competitive and we do not stand a chance to get a good pay from our future bosses if we do not have at least a degree...Not to mention those without even passing their O levels..I would just hope that life ahead just won't be that stressful..
Once I reached home from school, I could not stand the immerse weight on my eyelids and as soon as I began to even lie on my bed...the door bell rang. It was my crappy Maths tuition teacher. It is such a bother to get a tuition teacher for me even though that particular subject was stronger than the rest.
After an hour and half of blah-blahs, my father was back, and he wanted me to play with him basketball downstairs! Wah..can't I even get some rest first before even starting on anything else?! But there was no choice other than that, I did not want to disappotint my father. I wanted to make him proud of me because he is already very disappointed in my obession of computer games. Hit..throw..sweat...tired.....more tired.....about to faint...I could not take it anymore......At that moment, I dropped onto the floor, breathless. As my sister finished her homework and soon joined us in basketball, I told them to continue without me and gladly, I went back home to take a shower.
Just before posting this blog, I received a msn post from my best pal during my P6 years, saying that he has just been rejected and wants to ..D....I....E..Because of his rush character, no matter how any of our classmates confort him, he still wants to do it..I hope he does not be so rash and face some facts, after all this is life. Life is precious, and we should all treasure it, not destroy it like smashing it into smitherines. Remember how our parents brought us up, and raise us, imagine the pain they had when your mum had given brith to you, imagine how sad they would be if did not treasure your life, imagine that they were you...
Thats all I want to say about today..
Cya! Happy CNY
